Long-shot congressional candidate Peter Bearse (R-Fremont) ended 2007 with $10,004 cash on hand.
According to FEC documents, Bearse contributed $10,000 to his own campaign and established an exploratory committee in October.
Bearse is running in the First Congressional District's Republican primary. He is facing former Congressman Jeb Bradley and former Health and Human Services Secretary John Stephen.
Bearse did not respond to a phone call or email.
