Berlin state rep passes away

State Representative Edgar Mears, age 64, has passed away.

The Berlin Democrat, who was the chairman of the House Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services Committee, died from cancer on Wednesday.

He was in the middle of serving his eight term.
