Executive Council candidate Russell Prescott (R-Kingston) has announced the support of twenty-five state legislators.
Supporters include State Senators Michael Downing (R-Salem) and Robert Letourneau (R-Derry) and twenty-three state representatives.
"I am very grateful to have the support of so many state legislators. This group of respected local leaders will help me bring my message of fiscal conservatism and spending restraint to the voters of District 3. I am looking forward to working with them to regain this Executive Council seat," Prescott said in a statement.
Prescott is competing in District Three against Councilor Bev Hollingworth (D-Hampton).
