D'Allesandro campaigns for Clinton in Penn

State Sen. Lou D'Allesandro (D-Manchester) spent this past weekend campaign in Pennsylvania campaigning for Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY).

He visited the Scranton area speaking in senior centers, rallying campaign volunteers and hosted a press conference with the Scranton mayor.

"It was a very good trip," D'Allesandro said.

D'Allesandro participated in a press conference on the recent comments made by Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) on small-town America.

"I think they feel that his comments are not reflected of what's going on. Economic progress is being made and guns and fishing are a prerequisite for life in Pennsylvania," D'Allesandro said. "I told them that it's really about the same thing in New Hampshire.

"There's more churches in Scranton than I've ever seen in my life," he added.

D'Allesandro said that he is "happy" to go wherever the Clinton campaign wants him to visit.

Hillary must be short on surrogates or Captain Lou must be REALLY important.

Neither are true.

I was planning on voting for Obama, but damn, Hillary is supported by a washed-up state senator from New Hampshire! Guess I have to change my vote!
