Hodes daughter sent to hospital after acting mishap

Congressman Paul Hodes' daughter, Ariana Hodes, accidently gashed her leg during an acting performance, The Washington Post is reporting.

Ariana was performing in "Do I Hear a Waltz?" at Washington D.C.'s American University when she slipped on some liquid and torn her leg open.

"The stage was covered in blood...You would have thought we were doing 'Macbeth,' " said Professor Carl Menninger.

Despite the accident, Ariana finished the show and went to the hospital to get stitches.
