Horn proclaims herself frontrunner

Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) has proclaimed herself the frontrunner in the Second Congressional District Republican primary.

In a press release titled, "Jennifer Horn: Frontrunner in Only 10 Weeks," Horn said she is the frontrunner because she has raised more money than her opponents.

"Momentum is on our side. Our campaign has raised more money and has more donors than any of my Republican opponents. It's because the voters across the 2nd district know that I am the only candidate who can beat Paul Hodes in November," Horn said in a statement.

Horn also laid-out endorsements and Republican committee meetings she has attended.

Total BS!

Total BS and nonsense spin. Bob Clegg is the frontrunner, this conservative version Carol Shea Porter is not even close.

Bob Cleggs performance thus

Bob Cleggs performance thus far in the Congressional race has been nothing less then pitiful. He has not released any grassroots support he has not been able to raise any money (ie. show that people are willing to invest in the cause other than himself, and other than those stupid little videos he has done nothing to prove he knows how to win an election outside of a small majority Republican state senate district.

He would be a DISASTER as the parties nominee and he represents everything thats wrong with politics today. An insider, deal making, lobbyist appeasing liberal.

Frontrunner?

Jennifer Horn has been writing fluff columns in the Telegraph about babysitting and baking cookies. Why is she running for Congress?

Horn is for civil unions

According to the newspaper Politico, Horn supports civil unions and gun locks. When the voters find this out, good luck winning a Republican primary.

Jennifer Horn has the same

Jennifer Horn has the same position on gun locks as does the NRA.

Bob Clegg supports a double digit sales tax on everything people buy.

Bob Clegg has advocated for the interests of trial lawyers time and time again.

Bob Clegg is in favor of further government control and regulation of health care.

Bob Clegg has voted numerous times to raise NH families taxes.

Bob Clegg....

Horn on Civil Unions

I checked her out-she does not support mandates for gun locks and says Civil Unions belong in the state's hands and she does NOT support gay marriage. Clegg better watch out-she is smarter than he is AND she is likable-the impressive part is how many individual donors she has

Who cares? None of these

Who cares? None of these nitiwts has raised any money and it's clear that the GO Phas written off this race to the moonbats, as they should.

Senator Clegg is going to kick butt!

Bob Clegg is the smartest guy at the State House that is why great Democrats like Bob Blaisdell support him. Nobody works harder than Bob Clegg. He will win the primary two to one and beat Hodes too!

Here's what she said

From Politico, January 17, 2008, page 10:

"Horn described herself as a conservative Republican but said she is more MODERATE in supporting civil unions for same-sex couples and favoring 'common-sense RESTRICTIONS to protect kids from guns'".

These are not "conservative Republican" positions.

She's a bush-style neo-con,

She's a bush-style neo-con, not a conservative. It matters not a whit, however, as Hodes will kick her arse-or any other Repub's arse for that matter-in the general. Face it-we in the 2nd CD live in a moonbat district with all these massholes moving here.

Correcting the Record

Don't believe everything that you read. Any candidate's statements in an interview will be edited for convenience (at best) and whatever is printed will be further twisted by opponents.

I have heard Horn speak at house parties on both the issues of same sex marriage and the second amendment.

She opposes same sex marriage and believes the question of civil unions belongs in the hands of the voters (not the courts) at the state level.

She bitterly defends the second amendment and opposes legislative limitations to it. She believes in personal responsibility and believes parents have a responsibility to parent their children. For her own children, she takes steps to ensure that they are not exposed to firearms in an unsafe environment. However, her children have all fired firearms under adult supervision.

It all sounds pretty reasonable and responsible to me.
