Congressman Paul Hodes (D-Concord) is holding a town hall meeting for residents of the North Country on Tuesday, April 29th.
However, Hodes is taking a different kind of approach to the traditional town hall meeting.
In order to participate in the meeting, residents must call a phone number and Hodes will be answering questions on the other line.
All New Hampshire residents can listen to the call, but only North Country residents will be allowed to ask a question.
"North Country residents are truly hurting in this economic downturn," Congressman Hodes said in a press release. "I want to hear their concerns and talk with working families throughout this region of the state. This telephone town hall will allow North Country families to have a town hall meeting together and with their elected representative without leaving their own home, which is especially important given the rising price of gas. We have the technology to connect with our community, and I want to bring the town hall right to them."
