In Conway, Stephen says gov't is 'maxed out' on spending

John Stephen campaigning in ConwayJohn Stephen campaigning in ConwayCONWAY -- This morning congressional candidate John Stephen officially launched his campaign with stops in Glen and Conway.

Stephen is traveling the 1st district in a bus joined by Executive Council Ray Burton, his father Bobby, his brother Chuck and various other campaign staffers and supporters.

Stopping in Conway, Stephen discussed the campaign with almost 30 people.

"We have a Washington that's broken and we've been electing officials not that aren't accountable to the people that sent them," he said.

Stephen also repeated his line "the credit card is maxed out" and argued for government spending to be controlled.
