According to FEC filings the New Hampshire Republican Party (NHGOP) ended April with more cash-on-hand than the New Hampshire Democratic Party (NHDP).
The filings cover the month of April and provide a snapshot into the financial health of the state parties.
The NHGOP reported that it ended the month with $105,953 cash-on-hand, while the NHDP has $92,604.
Though the Republicans have more money in the bank, the Democrats were able to outraise their rivals. The NHDP raised $109,289, while the Republicans raised $12,266. The Democrats are also carrying a debt of $29,657 and the Republicans reported no debt.
State Sen. Martha Fuller Clark (D-Portsmouth) donated $10,000 to NHDP and the Democratic Senatorial Congressional Campaign chipped in $57,400.
While the Republicans largest donations came from the Republican National Committee, $3,000, and former state Republican Chairman Steve Duprey gave $1,250.
In April, the Democrats spent $124,051 and the Republicans spent $41,504.
Parties are not required to reveal money they raised through their state political action committees until September.
The New Hampshire Sierra Club endorsed a slate of Democrats for the offices of governor, executive council and state senate.

Fergus gets his first great talking point
I understand the point of raising money is to spend it in politics, that NHDP is going to outraise NHGOP through November and that PAC money isn't being reported yet, but it's as plain as the paper the FEC reports are printed on that NHDP leadership needs to exhibit some financial control. Fergus has more money in the bank than Raymond?!
Not that I can contribute much (I admit I'm a small donor), but NHDP burning through so much money so early in the calendar really discourages me from contributing my $20. Why do we need an army of staffers and offices before the summer even starts?
I'm going to spend my $20 on gasoline this summer, not on the NHDP.
Buckley bests Cullen again and again!
Buckley outraised Cullen by $87,000 in ONE month? Why even bother giving to my the NHGOP? If Fergus can't raise it now, when will he? Buckley's gang is ten times the Cullen crew, and I read they have five offices with dozens more opening soon. What the heck is Fergus waiting for?
Everyone knows the seeds planted in the Spring brings a bountiful harvest in the Fall. Everyone but Fergus.
No candidates. No money. No energy.
Maybe I will just stay home in November, again.
Fiscal Control
This truly is amazing. People have been harping for months that the NH GOP is broke, well, well, well it appears that they are the one with the resources.
While the NH GOP and John Sununu save their resources for when they count Shaheen and Buckley are spending their money like drunken sailors.
Putting a bow on that pig Fergus?
Let's set the facts straight:
Taking the GOP coh, the money spent last month and their balance, if all things stay the same the NH GOP will have a deficit of $60,000 after only spending $240,000.
Taking the Dem coh, the money spent last month and their balance and their debt the NHDP will have a $10,000 debt having spent $770,000.
So stop the Bushstyle budget lies.
The bottom line is the Republicans will have a debt of $50,000 having spent $530,000 less!!
So Fergus, you can spin all you want but it all adds up to on big loss for the NH GOP.
GOP debt
Let me correct the last part:
The NHGOP will have $60,000 deficit which will be $50,000 LARGER than the NHDP.
"I'm running the NHGOP into the ground as fast as I can" - Fergus Cullen
NHGOP Bad Financials
The NH Republicans' debt will be 25% of their revenue.
The NH Democrats' debt will be 1.3% of their revenue.
Cullen has proven himself to worthy of being called 'Bush League'.
But here is the real question:
With a $60,000 debt left after the election how will Fergus pay the $25,000 phonejamming money the NHGOP must pay in December...oh, hey, that just gave me a thought...if the NHGOP has to pay the NHDP $25,000 in December all Ray has to do is put 10 grand toward the debt and he will have $15,000 left over.
Wow, the NHGOP is in a heap o'trouble.
NHGOP Beats NHDP
The NH Republicans have more cash on hand then the NH Democrats! This is a shocking development and shows that Fergus is doing a great job repairing the party.
Also, what is wrong with you idiotic people? What are you the paid staffers BuckNuts has running around waiting on him at the NHDP office? The state Republicans reported no debt!
Read the freaking story! "The Democrats are also carrying a debt of $29,657 and the Republicans reported no debt."
Why all of the debt BuckNuts?
Are you 4?
What is this nursery school?
You clearly can't read or do math but you can make up silly names to try to hurt someone's feelings when you are frustrated.
Let's review..
NH Republicans are excited because as of today the NHGOP has a few thousand more on hand and the NHDOP has a 30g debt.
NH Republicans fail to realize that they only took in 12g last month but spent 41g. At that current rate, they will have spent one third of what the NHDP spends this year and have a $85,000 debt (including phone jamming 25g to NHDP).
On the other hand the NHDP will have spent half a million more and have a $15,000 surplus at the end.
Learn to read, learn to do math, learn to discuss without silly name calling.
...no wonder NH voters are saying no thanks to you.
