Senator Joe Foster Announces Retirement
Nashua- Today Senator Joe Foster announced his retirement from the New Hampshire Senate.
"It has been a great honor and privilege to serve the people of New Hampshire in the State Senate for the past 6 years and the last two years as Senate Majority Leader. I hope through my efforts along with those of my colleagues I have made New Hampshire just a little bit better because to me that is what public service is all about." said Foster.
"While I will miss the Senate and the work, I am looking forward to more family time. I take great comfort in the knowledge that Representative Bette Lasky will be seeking the seat, " he continued.
Foster was first elected in 2002 , and currently represents Nashua Wards 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. He will continue with his law practice at McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, P.A. He and his wife, Dr. Marissa Baltus, reside in Nashua with their three children.
