24 Democratic Candidates File for NH State Senate
Today - For the first time in the history of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, a complete slate of Democratic state senate candidates filed for office in unison, the first day of the filing period for the November election.
Twenty-four Democrats walked together from an early morning breakfast to the Secretary of State's office to register at 8 a.m.
“We are so very pleased to be able to have a full slate of candidates,” said Senate President Sylvia Larsen. “I am confident that the team we announced today will enable Democrats to not just hold but grow our Democratic majority.”
“Our 10 incumbents and 14 challengers, many of whom are current State Representatives, have a strong record of accomplishments to run on. We all look forward to earning the opportunity to serve the people of New Hampshire,” Larsen continued.
"Senator Larsen and the Senate Democratic majority have delivered on their promises. Improving education, expanding healthcare, job creation, and protecting our families are but a few of the accomplishments by the senate majority. Next term we can depend on the senate majority to do even more. We have a great team of candidates, our message is connecting with the voters and our party has never been stronger," said NHDP Chair Ray Buckley.
