NRCC to target 1st CD
By Brian LawsonThe National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) will begin to raise money for the eventual Republican nominee in the 1st Congressional District.
CongressDaily is reporting that U.S. Rep. Dave Camp (R-Mich.) has been tapped to raise money for New Hampshire.
Former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) is competing against former Health and Human Services Secretary (R-Manchester) in the Republican primary. The primary winner will run against U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester) in the general election.
The NRCC unveiled the plan this week and said the money will be used for the general election campaign.
The 2nd Congressional District is not a part of the NRCC's plan.

As a long-time CONSERVATIVE I refuse to give a nickel to the NRCC unless they stay the heck out of this race. This race needs to be decided by NH voters. If we learn nothing from the dumbocrats, we need to learn that NOBODY should be forced into a pisspoor choice sent from on high. IMO, the pisspoor choice would be the lightweight, runt-of-the-litter from wolfboro, BUT, we need to select our candidate without interference from the scumbags in DC. Deal with it.

The article says that they are raising money for the eventual nominee and not for either primary candidate in particular. This money will be a much needed supplemental to the bankrupt state Republicans in the General now that Shea-Porter U-turned on her promise not to take money from Frontline. Get raedy for the money to pour in from both sides.
It's because of this race and the Sununu-Shaheen race that I love NH, only here could we not only have the weakest Republican in the Senate, but also the weakest Democrat in the House. If Carl Levin and the other sore losers from Michigian want a reason why we should be first in the nation it is these two races, we don't take our cues from Washington, D.C, we take them from Main St.
