Today in the U.S. Senate race

Marc Ambinder writes that there is a 50 percent chance that the senate seat will flip to the Democrats.

Jeanne Shaheen penned an op-ed in The Union Leader arguing that speculation is driving-up oil prices.

She later issued a statement congratulating Barack Obama. "Senator Obama's messages of hope and change reflect the desires of millions of Americans who are looking for a new direction in Washington.  I also want to congratulate Senator Clinton for running a strong and impressive campaign focused on the issues that matter to middle class families," Shaheen said.

The New Hampshire Democratic Party coordinated campaign says that Sununu is "complicit in Bush's deception" on the Iraq war.

Sununu issued a statement reiterating his opposition to the farm bill. He says he opposes the bill because contains expensive subsidies.
