Today in the U.S. Senate race
By Brian Lawson, PolitickerNH.com ReporterEditors note: This is a daily summary of news about the U.S. Senate race between U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) and former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D-Madbury).
Shaheen unveiled her "Veterans for Shaheen" group.
While, Sununu toured the Manchester VA center with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
The New Hampshire Democrats released a statement with the title "Sununu Again Fails NH Veterans."
Sununu is being praised by New Hampshire road builders for supporting filling a shortfall in the federal Highway Trust Fund.
The junior senator also says he supports offshore drilling.
