Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney: Getty Images PhotoFormer Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will campaign for U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) later this week in New Hampshire.
Romney will march in the Wolfeboro Fourth of July parade, PolitickerNH.com has learned.
"He and his family traditionally spend the holiday in Wolfeboro and attend the parade regularly," Jim Merrill, Romney's former New Hampshire state director, said in an e-mail. "This year they will be marching alongside the MittMobile, to thank the voters of southern Carroll County for their support during the primary and, most importantly, to encourage them to actively support and vote for Senator McCain this fall."
The MittMobile will be decorated with various "McCain for President" signs.
Romney lost to McCain in the New Hampshire primary by 13,038 votes.
