STATEMENT BY BOB CLEGG ON HENRY WAXMAN’S NEW HAMPSHIRE VISIT WITH PAUL HODES

Concord, NH --Today it was announced that California Democratic Congressman Henry Waxman will join Paul Hodes for a fundraiser in Concord, NH next week.  Bob Clegg, candidate for 2nd Congressional District of NH, released the following statement on the upcoming visit:
 
“Paul Hodes once again demonstrates his misunderstanding of New Hampshire citizens and their values.  Bringing a California Congressman to New Hampshire for headlines and cash only reinforces what we have been saying all along—Paul Hodes is beholden to Pelosi Politics. Two states could not be more different and Congressman Waxman and Speaker Pelosi are  the epitome of liberal California politics: high taxes, high spending, and big government. In New Hampshire we believe in individual freedom, low taxes and limited government. He uses Waxman to hype himself and has voted with California’s Nancy Pelosi 98% of the time.  I think we know which state his values come from, and it’s not the Granite State.
