John Stephen Announces Belknap County Leadership TeamOver 65 Activists And Community Leaders Back Congressional Candidate
MANCHESTER, NH- 1st District Congressional candidate John Stephen today announced his Belknap County Leadership Team, a group of over 65 activists and business and community leaders who will work to help Stephen get elected to Congress. The Leadership Team will direct organizational efforts in Belknap County and build a grassroots network to support the campaign's efforts across the county.
"I have a long history of working with the citizens of Belknap County and that will continue when I am in Congress," said Stephen. "I am thrilled to have the support of so many key community leaders from across the county. These are individuals who know the lay of the land in their communities and they understand how to get the message out throughout the area. I am humbled by their backing, because I know that this is a group who can deliver results."
"Seldom in all of my years as an activist has there been a candidate that has impressed me as much as John Stephen. From my first conversation with John I knew this is the candidate that will do as he says he will upon arriving in Washington, D.C.," stated former state legislator and Laconia activist Niel Young. "John Stephen along with a conservative group of Republican congressmen will bring a breath of fresh air to the GOP and make NH proud when we see our congressman from the 1st District speaking with conviction!"
"John's common sense approach to New Hampshire's Health and Human Services was admirable and successful," added Meredith Selectman Colette Worsman. "He will work to reduce our bloated federal government and support legislation to cut spending. For the citizen of the US to have to work till mid-July to fund government is unacceptable. We therefore are excited John is running for congress and look forward to real change in Washington." ###
