Former Health and Human Services Commisssioner John Stephen (R-Manchester) has announced his Belknap County Leadership Team.
The group of 65 supporters will organize volunteers in the county.
"Seldom in all of my years as an activist has there been a candidate that has impressed me as much as John Stephen. From my first conversation with John I knew this is the candidate that will do as he says he will upon arriving in Washington, D.C.," Niel Young said in a campaign press release.
Stephen in running in the 1st Congressional District Republican primary against former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro).
"I am thrilled to have the support of so many key community leaders from across the county," Stephen said in the release. "These are individuals who know the lay of the land in their communities and they understand how to get the message out throughout the area. I am humbled by their backing, because I know that this is a group who can deliver results."
