State Sen. Bob Clegg has picked-up a series of endorsements following a recent tour through the 2nd Congressional District.
Clegg gained the endorsements of Tony, former chairman of the state liquor commission, and Betty Maiola, member of the Newport board of selectman. The Hudson Republican was also endorsed by Grafton County Sheriff Doug Dutile and Coos County Commissioner Burnham "Bing" Judd from Pittsburg.
"Senator Clegg is the most qualified candidate running in the 2nd Congressional District and will help solve the problems we face in Washington," Judd said in a statement.
Clegg is competing in the Republican primary against Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua), Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) and Jim Steiner (R-Concord).
