Clegg begins ‘energy week’

State Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson) has begun what his campaign calls "energy week."

Throughout the week, Clegg's campaign will be running ads on Drudge Report, showing web videos on energy, posting guest blogs on the campaign website and discussing energy issues at campaign events.

"Paul Hodes has done nothing in Congress to help us through this very difficult time of high gas prices and an unknown energy future. After a series of saying ‘no' Paul Hodes, along with his Pelosi colleagues, said ‘YES' to a summer vacation refusing to even consider the plight of the folks back home," the Hudson Republican said in a press release. "They don't think we deserve even a discussion on possible solutions."

Clegg is running in the Republican primary in the 2nd Congressional District against Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua), Jim Steiner (R-Concord) and Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro).

"I'm pleased to see Bob Clegg finally talking about energy policy," Bosse said in a press release. "It's a major expense for American families, and our current Congress would rather shut down for a month than hold an open vote on increasing our domestic oil reserves."

I am glad to see candidates

I am glad to see candidates discussing the energy issue.

Why does it always seem that when something positive happens that Grant "Debbie Downer" Bosse is there to bring everyone down?

Pelosi, Hodes and all the other liberals have done nothing in Congress. They have taken vacation at on eof the worst possible time.

Great way to bring attention to all the issues Mr. Clegg.

The democrats have raised oil prices and now will do nothing about it. It seems as if every democratic candidate out of New Hampshire shadows Pelosi's every move.

Shea-Porter was the deciding vote on the vacation and from her record she doesn't stray far from Pelosi.

Bob Clegg has actually done things in the NH legislature about energy
policy. Grant bosse has only written about it" and now complained about it

Bosse once again shows his immaturity he only wants to bicker and point
fingers. He and Horn are the same as porter and Hodes

Kudos

Kudos to Sen. Clegg for shining a spotlight on this issue...especially as Dems in the House continue to obstruct a vote on offshore drilling.

And shame on Bosse for whining like a 2 year old.
