Horn unveils 10-point plan

Congressional candidate Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) has released a 10-point plan labeled "Move America Forward."

Horn says the plan will "renew the spirit of America"

Horn's plan includes making the country energy independent, reforming Social Security, lowering the cost of health insurance, securing the border, ending "wasteful" government spending, winning the war on terror, creating jobs, returning education to parents, fighting for veterans and returning integrity to government.

"We should hold members of Congress accountable to their actions and what they accomplish vs. what they promised us when they ran for office," Horn said in a statement. "I want to renew the spirit of America and make government work for the people again. During my first term in congress, I pledge to the voters of the 2nd District that I will fight for each of these issues so that we can Move America Forward."

The former radio talk show host also used the opportunity to criticize U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord).

"Paul Hodes calls Washington home. I don't believe that you can effectively represent the people who elected you if you are never here," Horn added. "Nashua is my home, Washington will only be the place where I work. Paul Hodes fails to offer solutions -- only partisan rhetoric, glossy mailers and photo-ops. I am here talking about my 10 point plan to Move America Forward."

What a Joke

It's nice that Jennifer Horn supports "creating good jobs" and "reforming Social Security" and "fighting for veterans." Of course, her inability to provide any additional information on how she wants to do this -- or her other eight points -- speaks volumes about the utter vapidity of her candidacy.

The primary is one month away. If a candidate refuses to talk about issues NOW, then when will she?

She is the "Put Together" Candidate

Paul Hodes watch out!!!!

She is on message and I think she is the one to take down Hodes. Once you talk to Jennifer you realize how much she knows and what a force she will be in Washington. She is a communicator in the true Reagan mould. She wins over rooms full of people wherever she goes. Everyone else is a second tier candidate in comparison.

Why do you think I'm a Bosse supporter?

For the record, I'm not. I would just rather see congressional candidates doing little more than loudly proclaim the most basic of generalities.

And if you consider Horn's web site statements to be anything more than vague boiler plate blather, then you might want to open a newspaper one of these days.
