Earlier this week, state Sen. Molly Kelly (D-Keene) emailed supporters in an attempt to raise money before the next fundraising deadline.
Kelly is hoping to raise $7,000 by August 18, the deadline when candidates must submit their next round of fundraising numbers.
"It is essential that we move forward and build on our accomplishments, keeping the focus on building a strong economy, providing an equal opportunity for education, mandating safe schools, ensuring a clean and healthy environment and protecting a women's right to choose," Kelly wrote.
Kelly is running for re-election against former state Sen. Tom Eaton (R-Keene) in district 10.
