Clegg feels shift towards his campaign

AMHERST- State Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson) says his congressional campaign is gaining momentum.

"I feel good, I feel that we've made great strides in a lot of different places, especially in the northern part of the district," Clegg told PolitickerNH.com.

Clegg said supporters have been requesting 4-by-8 signs. Last week a supporter took 20 signs, he said, and promised he would send him a picture whenever a sign went up.

"I think we're getting more-and-more people calling and asking for signs absolutely," he said. "We're at the point where we've had to hire two more people just to do signs."

Clegg says that he is looking to do well in the southern part of the district.

"I'm hoping I do well in my hometown, Nashua of course because I grew-up there, Hudson," he said. "I'm hoping to do well in the southern tier where I've done a lot of business but I'm also looking to do well in the northern part too."

Clegg is running in the 2nd Congressional District against Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua), Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) and Jim Steiner (R-Concord).

Sorry Bob, this just makes

Sorry Bob, this just makes you sound nervous. Everyone knows that Horn is getting more of the momentum. You can spend all of your unearned fortune on signs, but at the end of the day thats all you will have.

Vote for Platitudes and Talking Points

NHConservative is right. NH primary voters are looking for a candidate who can accurately and persuasively recite platitudes and talking points. They're not looking for anyone who actually knows anything about anything. That must be why this is Horn's year.

I felt the shift too

I felt a shift in this race last Thursday night when I watched Horn eat all three of her opponents alive...too bad Mr. Clegg doesn't recognize that shift is moving AGAINST him, not for him.

The "platitudes and talking points" line just doesn't work anymore - too many voters in the 2nd CD have had a chance to hear her speak and have learned how well-informed and highly qualified she really is - she was the only one stage at the debate who had a clue what was going on in Georgia/Russia and she showed more grace under fire than any other candidate in decades.

If Bob isn't nervous he should be.
