Elliott for Senate

Phone: (603) 525-7524Email: elliott4senate@aol.comWWW.Elliott4Senate.comFor immediate release "Mr. Sanborn, night club owner, proved he is the "Paris Hilton playboy" of New Hampshire politics”  Larry Elliott, senate candidate for New Hampshire district #7 ,  criticized his  fellow republican opponent  on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008  stating that "Mr. Sanborn , night club owner, proved he is the "Paris Hilton playboy" of New Hampshire politics  and does not understand the working class men and women of the state of New Hampshire." Mr. Sanborn skipped the Bo scawen parade and instead held a $200 per person fundraiser at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This event was sponsored by his Massachusetts friends   Lamborghini of Boston and Ferrari of New England.Elliot stated that "he was just one more among the fellow working class population of the district attending the Boscawen parade." Elliott further stated that "most people in  these economic times do not have the luxury of  spending $200 per person on a fundraisers that includes "playing" with fancy cars on the track.  Most individuals are busy trying to find a way to save for the increase in their upcoming winter fuel bills and making sure they can  put food on their  tables. A very small percentage of our voters can spend their time and money hanging out like playboys at the track in these economic times. ""Mr. Sanborn  is out of touch with the needs of our citizens and  how they are struggling  to pay for  the rising cost of their basic needs such as health care, food, housing , and rising fuel costs.  In addition, they are also faced with an increase in   22 other taxes and fees that have been raised by the Democratic Party in the last session." says Elliott.
