Norelli optimistic about Nov.
By Brian Lawson, PolitickerNH.com ReporterDENVER- House Speaker Terie Norelli (D-Portsmouth) says she is "very optimistic" about the Democrats maintaining control over the House.
"I'm feeling very optimistic about making history again in November with back-to-back Democratic victories," Norelli told PolitickerNH.com.
Norelli said the Democratic caucus is "very well positioned" to elect candidates in November.
"We're training candidates, raising money for them and they've begun campaigning door-to-door," she said.
Norelli also said that Rockingham County will be a battleground area in the general election.
"I understand that not only is New Hampshire a battleground but that for battleground counties Rockingham County is considered a battleground."
Norelli said statewide candidates campaign in the Seacoast area because of the active grassroots network.
