SALEM-- Jennifer Horn's (R-Nashua) campaign manager told PolitickerNH.com that the campaign is busy identifying voters and making sure they get to the polls on primary day.
"We're going to be calling and turning out our voters and make sure that every Jennifer Horn supporter becomes a Jennifer Horn voter," David Chesley said.
Horn is competing in the 2nd Congressional District Republican primary that features state Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson), Jim Steiner (R-Concord) and Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro).
Chesley said the campaign has been reaching out to voters through direct mail, phone banks, campaign events, voter-to-voter contact effort and with television and radio ads.
Chesley also said that Horn's message is rescinding with voters in the 2nd Congressional District.
"Jennifer's message is going to the voters and on Tuesday they are going to buy it," he added.
Jeff Hatch, Salem's Republican Chairman, said that Republican voters are looking for a fighter to face U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord) in November.
"I think they are looking for someone who's going to take on Paul Hodes," Hatch said in an interview. "Senator Clegg is too nice and he's going to take it to Paul Hodes."
Hatch has endorsed Horn in the primary.
