LONDONDERRY-- Following the trend statewide, the town of Londonderry has had a low turnout so far this primary day.
Around 3:30, just 900 voters had cast their ballot. The town has 15,741 registered voters.
"It's very light," Meg Seymour, the town clerk and tax collector, told PolitickerNH.com.
The few voters that were trickling in were being greeted by former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) and the wife of his rival, former Health and Human Services Commissioner John Stephen (R-Manchester).
Seymour said one reason for the low turnout is that people are not aware there is an election.
"A lot of people are unaware there is a state primary today," Seymour said.
