Bradley says primary will help in November

MANCHESTER--Former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) told PolitickerNH.com that running in a competitive primary will make him a better candidate in the general election.

Bradley defeated former Health and Human Services Commissioner John Stephen (R-Manchester) Tuesday.

"This has made me a better campaigner and will make me a better congressman," Bradley said outside Murphy's Taproom.

Bradley also called Stephen a "tough campaigner."

When asked by a reporter how 2008 would be different from 2006, when he lost to current U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester), Bradley said, "This time she has record."

Bradley said that the campaign has just begun.

"I feel great, but this is just one step," he said.

Thanks for nothing Strafford County

Once again Strafford County Republicans prove themselves worthless, electing a squishy, robotic, blue blooded hand shake to serve in DC (as he will inevitably defeat his Democratic contender who has more zealous bones in her body than intelligence quotient in her mind). Oh for the days when Rockefeller Republicans might quietly perch in the State House, slicing salami on the Road to Lamedom.

Jeb Bradley Lied and Will Loose in November

Let the truth be told Jeb Bradley lied through out the race about John Stephen's record at HHS. Jeb has demonstrated that he is a man with no core values and will do or say what ever it takes to get elected. Mark my words Jeb will again be defeated by Carol Shea-Porter in November and Republican's will be the ones to put Congresswomen Shea-Porter over the top and send Jeb packing!.

No Jeb, No WAY NO HOW!

While I was at a visibility yesterday, I got to see this politician Jeb Bradley in action. I am NOT impressed at all! This man is my definition of a slimy politician, and who he mingles with is disturbing.
I am FIRED up to work my tail off for Carol Shea Porter who has been a champion for NH and her work with veterans is just one reason you should send Carol back to congress.
Looking at the winners yesterday, makes me concerened BIG TIME! Two typical politicians won yesterday... well, that's typical!

Strafford Sheriff

Let's look at the record and issues. Strafford County Sheriff Wayne Estes was elected to office in 2002 when then Governor Benson got his vote out. It was a time when society had 911 fresh in their mind and law enforcement changed greatly. One agency that did not change was the Sheriff. He looks good on paper and in the photo ops endorsing Presidential Candidates but has not received one dollar of federal monies to keep the county safe. He did ask of $10,000 dollars in county tax dollars to send his officers to Washington to attend police memorial week though. Law enforcement needs a strong leader who will bring all agencies together for a common goal. Tim Brown, an experienced police detective will help make this happen.

Unlike all these other

Unlike all these other individuals I praise Jeb on winning the primary. He has been campaigning longer and run a better campaign than Stephen.

Jeb marches onto November to take on Shea-Porter.

Great work Jeb, I knew

Great work Jeb, I knew Stephen wasn't a fiscal conservative and wouldn't win the primary. Watch out Shea-Porter, voting against the Iraq War won't win you an election this time.

Bradley

I was a luke-warm Bradley supporter until around 3 weeks ago. I don't care for John Stephen, but when I saw what Bradley's campaign did in the ads they ran, blantant lies, I changed my mind. I did not vote for Stephen, but will be voting for Porter even though I'm convinced she is not doing the right things. My hope is that by keeping Bradley out, perhaps a decent candidate can come in next time. Meanwhile, with McCain as Prez and a weaker democrat-controlled house/senate, there will be gridlock in DC. I believe in gridlock when we live in such partisan times. When they're locked up, they can't screw us and that's a nice reprieve.

Jeb's a liar

Jeb taught our future generation, if you lie and cheat you win. Hopefully we won't be fooled again in November. What a shame!

Snatching defeat from the jaws of...

There is no way in creation a retread Jeb Bradley should have nipped John Stephen at the wire.
Bradley can run in the mud, though, I'll say that for him.

Congrats Jeb!

Jeb is the best man for the job, and is an honest and honorable person. Jeb told the truth, and the losers don't want to hear it. John now will actually have to get a private sector job for the first time in his adult life and see what it is like to work for a living and actually help make money for his employer (or get fired). The Stephen supporters who are now drinking w(h)ine made from sour grapes should actually do something productive and volunteer to go and pick up all of the Stephen signs that are littering the State.
