UNH: Bush at 27 approval in state

A University of New Hampshire poll puts President George W. Bush's approval rating at 27 percent among adults.

The WMUR Granite State Poll, sponsored by WMUR-TV and conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, also shows that 70 percent of adults disapprove of Bush's handling of the economy and 61 percent disapprove of his handling of foreign policy.

The poll also concluded that "Only 54% of Republicans now approve of Bush's performance as President while 92% of Democrats and 75% of political Independents disapprove."

UNH polled 550 adults with a margin-of-error of 4.5 percent.

if pelosi was given as much rope as bush she would hang herself more quickly than bush...

similar to obama v. mccain. given the opportunity, the democrat would make less people happy than mccain... but i dont think we are going to have to worry about that happening.

mccain continues to show that despite everything stacked against him you can't put him away. on election day we'll see who truly is "the chosen one" it's going to be the man who has earned it by actually loving this country (Johnny Mac). I looked at my sample absentee ballot today and the top of the dem ticket just looks unpatriotic.

Look For Those 27/100

Where are these 27 out of every 100 people who approve of George W. Bush? I'm going out right now to look for them. I'd appreciate tips on how to find them. Are there certain hunting calls I should use? Do they look or dress a certain way? Is there a code word or two I should use? Do they hang out together, like in a part of the local Mall, or downtown somewhere? Any clues would be appreciated.

Your BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) is approaching critical mass. Here's a newsflash for you there, einstein, Bush is not running for anything. Oh and by the way, while you're looking for the 27 out of 100 ppl who approve of the President's work, do me a favor will you? Find me the 9 out of 100 who support that imbecile Pelosi. Pelosi's stupidity and incompetence, as well as your own, is far more relevant, but you fail to recognize this.

You are so typical of why most people despise life-long politicians. A bunch of no-talent hacks, most of whom cannot get it done in the private sector. The NH House since 1969? Dude, you have some serious clinging issues. With political hangers-on and party hacks like you, there is no thought of country, it's all about partisan politics, "Splaine's party, right or wrong". Friggin' pathetic and disgusting. People like you are why good, decent people refuse to run for office, leaving us with the terrible choices we have. Partisan attacks, personal, ad-hominum scrutiny that has nothing to do with the office, etc keep good, qualified citizens from running and leave us with people like, well, you. Very sad.
