Economic uncertainty among voters has given an edge to the Democratic ticket, according to New Hampshire political analysts.
"Certainly the last two weeks have been terrible for the Republican Party from John McCain down," said Dante Scala, UNH professor and PolitickerNH.com columnist, told The Associated Press.
Scala added, "With Obama now holding a 5, 6, or 7-point lead nationally, that has reverberations down the ticket."

Analysts say economy gives edge to Dems
It’s great to be an American where we can agree to disagree, so when you get a chance thank all those Veterans out there who protect your FREEDOMS.
I think the Democrats need to wake up and smell the coffee! Can anyone tell me what credentials Barack Hussein Obama has? What has he accomplished besides using loop holes to take out his competition and let's not forget his association with criminals?
I hope the pressure does not get to him and he goes back to Crack Cocaine, yes he is a real intelligent guy, an example that you might want for your kids, not me.
Senator Barack Hussein Obama credentials and judgment is in question and like many Obama Pied Piper followers, they really do not have a clue on what Obama will do to our economy and not to forget what he will do to our military with his cut and run, white flag mentality.
If you need to see for yourself the truth about the Democrats, here is a couple of you tube sites to help you out on why we had to bailout Wall Street.

Respectfully submitted the truth for your review, so believe what you want.
You're Better Than That.
Al, I respect you for your service to America, and for your courage speaking up as you do on the floor of the New Hampshire House. But about your commentary -- you're better than that.
Better than that
Jim,
You know I just state the truth.
Is there anything in my comments that are not true?
AL
Al?
I saw you at the Londonderry polls wearing a very innapropriate Obama/Osama button. Being that you are a state rep, I was very rattled at this, for it seems to go against state constitution? At least the way I read it. I wish you could loose the hate, and stick to the facts. Loose the smears and you would be much more respected in your attacks/accusations.
Concerned Voter
Can you show me where it states my button is against the constitution?
What makes it inappropiate, because you did nt like it?
It might be against your interpetation but not mine.
Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing and I will continue to wear it.
If any wants to know what my button stated, it was a picture of Obama and Osama and said you decide.
I believe in my heart that Barack Hussien Obama has a cut and run whit flag mentality.
But thanks for you reccomendation.
Just my opinion,
AL
Concerned Voter
What I forgot to say was that only a few Democrats that support Obama had a issue with my button
Many other Democrats in town do support me and had no issue with your views.
The many negative letter's that I get in the newspaper, the more supporters I gain.
By the way with all the attacks in the paper against me, did you see that I still have the respect of many voters in our town, where I came in 1st place?
Confusing privilege with power, Al
As a veteran, I will say that while in uniform, one sets aside their personal opinions because they represent the service and America.
That said, Al. You, as an elected official, have a responsibility to represent your constituents. Not just those that voted for you, but ALL the residents you have the priviledge to represent.
One that note, your hate filled rant is an embarrassment to the office that you hold. Please resign. Then you will be truly free to puke forth such ugly words.
I hope folks see clear to reject this tired, politics as usual from the likes of the "Honorable Al."
YOUR CONFUSING POWER WITH 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHTS
Jack, after 22 years of wearing my Marine Corps uniform Honorable I like many am not intimidated to speak my mind.
You are right that I have a responsibility in representing my constituents and they all know that I am not scared to exercise my 1st Amendment Rights.
If I listen to your way, I would be like Carol Shea Porter or Jean Shaheen and go what ever way the wind blows or vote the in a way for whom ever gets their feelings hurt 1st.
I am sorry Jack, you have the wrong guy because if the voters did not feel I was representing them right, I would be voted out. You did see that I came in 1st in the Primary out of nine, so I should change my ways because Jack said so? I do not think so!
Let me assure you that if for some reasons the voters do vote me out of office, the $100.00 a year I make will not deprive my family of their quality of life that is for sure.
Now Jack, show me where I spewed hate filled rant that is not true in my posting?
Show me where in the constitution that it states that an elected official has to suspend his 1st Amendment Rights because the ones who did not vote for him do not like the truth that comes out of his/her mouth?
My friend you have the wrong guy, if you think I will sit and be a good boy because Jack said so.
We will agree to disagree on this one.
State constitution
To back up what I said, this is what I read and when I read this specific article, I thought of you Al.
[Art.] 38. [Social Virtues Inculcated.] A frequent recurrence to the fundamental principles of the constitution, and a constant adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, industry, frugality, and all the social virtues, are indispensably necessary to preserve the blessings of liberty and good government; the people ought, therefore, to have a particular regard to all those principles in the choice of their officers and representatives, and they have a right to require of their lawgivers and magistrates, an exact and constant observance of them, in the formation and execution of the laws necessary for the good administration of government.

Enjoy the facts and stop smashing good people just because you are ignorant. You hold a publics trust so do try to act civil ALB
Right from rights
I was a grunt in Iraq, so spare me the fake civility. You said my man flies a white flag? You are gravely ignorant of anything that approaches "truth."
Sad that we have to go this route. To attack peoples character is so low. Of course when you can't win on merit, Al, I guess you have to sink low and hide behind your "rights."
Make-Believe Maverick
A closer look at the life and career of John McCain reveals a disturbing record of recklessness and dishonestyBy TIM DICKINSON
At Fort McNair, an army base located along the Potomac River in the nation's capital, a chance reunion takes place one day between two former POWs. It's the spring of 1974, and Navy commander John Sidney McCain III has returned home from the experience in Hanoi that, according to legend, transformed him from a callow and reckless youth into a serious man of patriotism and purpose. Walking along the grounds at Fort McNair, McCain runs into John Dramesi, an Air Force lieutenant colonel who was also imprisoned and tortured in Vietnam.
McCain is studying at the National War College, a prestigious graduate program he had to pull strings with the Secretary of the Navy to get into. Dramesi is enrolled, on his own merit, at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in the building next door.
There's a distance between the two men that belies their shared experience in North Vietnam — call it an honor gap. Like many American POWs, McCain broke down under torture and offered a "confession" to his North Vietnamese captors. Dramesi, in contrast, attempted two daring escapes. For the second he was brutalized for a month with daily torture sessions that nearly killed him. His partner in the escape, Lt. Col. Ed Atterberry, didn't survive the mistreatment. But Dramesi never said a disloyal word, and for his heroism was awarded two Air Force Crosses, one of the service's highest distinctions. McCain would later hail him as "one of the toughest guys I've ever met."
On the grounds between the two brick colleges, the chitchat between the scion of four-star admirals and the son of a prizefighter turns to their academic travels; both colleges sponsor a trip abroad for young officers to network with military and political leaders in a distant corner of the globe.
"I'm going to the Middle East," Dramesi says. "Turkey, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iran."
"Why are you going to the Middle East?" McCain asks, dismissively.
"It's a place we're probably going to have some problems," Dramesi says.
"Why? Where are you going to, John?"
"Oh, I'm going to Rio."
"What the hell are you going to Rio for?"
McCain, a married father of three, shrugs.
"I got a better chance of getting laid."
Dramesi, who went on to serve as chief war planner for U.S. Air Forces in Europe and commander of a wing of the Strategic Air Command, was not surprised. "McCain says his life changed while he was in Vietnam, and he is now a different man," Dramesi says today. "But he's still the undisciplined, spoiled brat that he was when he went in."

Or
How about the endorsement of Barack Hussein Obama by Medal of Honor recipient, 'Bud' Bucha?
Mr. Baldasaro's slurs
The telling point is that this jerk, in response to a posting about the economy, must completely ignore the content of the posting and instead start spewing lies and personal attacks against Obama.
That's usually called hijacking and trolling.
But it deserves a different term in this case, because it is exactly the technique that the McCain campaign itself appears has begun to employ.
Concerbed Voter
Okay, I am impressed, now wake up and smell the coffee here.
I guess I am in compliance with Art 38 where I preserve the blessing of Liberty by being honest to all. Stop reading between the lines but good try.
My friend, you are right I hold the publics trust and for the second time I have came in 1st during a primary in my district, so apparently the voters agree with my honesty in speaking my mind and not holding back
You call me ignorant because of my comments. Did I call you any names or did the truth hurt?
Now, let’s be professional here and just tell me what was said that is not true and let’s see who lacks in the real truth?
Michael Ladam and anyone else
You can call me anything you wantand believe me I will not break. If you want more posting there are sights out there concerning Obama in Chicago that can post.
But, Once again and for the last time, show me what lies have been posted?
I do not care who supports Obama but merely stateing what I have read in Barack Hussien Obama's book and posted what Democrats have publically stated about the mortgage companie bail out.
Trust but verify!
Blow is not crack
Just ask "W".
Recite the passage where he said he smoked crack, Al.
I haven't read his book, so school me.
And this thing about the "white flag" is you parroting the McCain/Palin lie.
Perhaps
Folks will finally begin to accept the fact that supply side economics don't work. They didn't work for Reagan, Bush I, or Bush II. Why would anyone be silly enough to think that somehow it will magically work for John McCain?
Tired, same old politics of destruction
You quote Corsi. How droll.
Timelines are not surrender. McCain has voted against funding troops AND vets. And I don't know what Marines Obama spoke of.
Do you mean this?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8748tcGlznk
In your day, was it called collateral damage? There was also "friendly fire", wasn't there?
We don't cover that stuff up in the 21st Century. Lying to Americans never works.
Just ask Pat Tillman's family.
Stay classy, Al.
Stay classy, Al.
Stay classy, Al.
Stay classy, Al.
An embarrassment.
The McCain-Palin ticket is a major party Presidential ticket in the United States of America, and deserves better, more thoughtful, more respectable advocating than what is being provided here.
In all fairness to ALB, though, the McCain-Palin campaign is at least as inane as what he's saying.
It's really an embarrassment--makes one nostalgic for the days of Bob Dole, and I'm not a fan.
Hey ALB, here is what you are hoping to avoid us focusing on!
This is an email from Sen Obama's campaign that was sent out today. Humm, now we know why ALB is so quick to use the Good Ole' GOP Smoke and Mirrors trick!
"Over the weekend, John McCain's top adviser announced their plan to stop engaging in a debate over the economy and "turn the page" to more direct, personal attacks on Barack Obama.
In the middle of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, they want to change the subject from the central question of this election. Perhaps because the policies McCain supported these past eight years and wants to continue are pretty hard to defend.
But it's not just McCain's role in the current crisis that they're avoiding. The backward economic philosophy and culture of corruption that helped create the current crisis are looking more and more like the other major financial crisis of our time.
During the savings and loan crisis of the late '80s and early '90s, McCain's political favors and aggressive support for deregulation put him at the center of the fall of Lincoln Savings and Loan, one of the largest in the country. More than 23,000 investors lost their savings. Overall, the savings and loan crisis required the federal government to bail out the savings of hundreds of thousands of families and ultimately cost American taxpayers $124 billion.
Sound familiar?
In that crisis, John McCain and his political patron, Charles Keating, played central roles that ultimately landed Keating in jail for fraud and McCain in front of the Senate Ethics Committee. The McCain campaign has tried to avoid talking about the scandal, but with so many parallels to the current crisis, McCain's Keating history is relevant and voters deserve to know the facts -- and see for themselves the pattern of poor judgment by John McCain." - David Plouffe
McCain raised White Flag in Somalia
By your definition of "surrender":
McCain Introduced Amendment To Cut Off Funds For Troops In Somalia. On October 14, 1993, McCain introduced an amendment to the Fiscal Year 1994 Department of Defense appropriations bill to prohibit funding of U.S. military operations in Somalia except for the withdrawal of all U.S. troops. The amendment was defeated by a tabling motion, introduced by Senator Thurman.
Be careful, Al. Mudslinging is a tough sport in the Information Age.
A Message to Al
My point to you ALB is that I ought to see that my representatives act in a certain way, and demand a certain level of dignity. I am demanding that instead of wearing "smear gear", try finding something good to say about your own candidate, or is that difficult? I was just really freaked out to see a state rep wearing that, it just doesn't seem right.
Politics is a serious thing, and ought to be treated as such. No room for immature actions when so much is at stake.
I wish the very best for my country I really do and I expect great things from those who have been entrusted by the American people to represent them.
To represent all of the people, not just a select few out of a certain political party.
Baldasaro is the Face of the NH Republican Party
The over the top, unhinged behavior is exactly what has happened to the New Hampshire Republicans.
Each election they get more reckless, more crazed and more unacceptable to the average New Hampshire family.
The once mighty NH Republican Party is fading fast. Over the past few years Republicans are losing members and Democrats are outpacing independents by a significant margin. People don't want to be part of such slime. Why dosen't anyone in the Republican Party understand that?
OK, Al, let's play by your rules
Since Al thinks using Obama's middle name is fair game, I guess the voters in Londonderry and Auburn have a right to know whether Baldosaro is tied to the Mafia.
After all, he has an Italian name, and you can't be too careful about these things.
"Your Rules"
Ha!
Attacks on Al Baldasaro by ignorant fools.
The ridiculous comments about Rep. Baldasaro are laughably absurd. The problem is that the very best the Democrats could produce were Hillary Rodham-Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama. The Democrat primary election proved that their party is racist and sexist. Is was between a woman and a black man.
"Osama-Obama" "No More Bushit" What's the difference?!
I laugh when I see Democrats try to hide Obama's middle name.
My personal opinion: There are black men who should be president, not Obama.
There are women who should be president, not Hillary.
Things are looking up in New Hampshire!
Democrats are moving up!
Crime is going up!
Drug use is going up!
Taxes are going up!
Court corruption is going up!
The size of government is balooning up!
Things are looking up!!
They're coming up from Massachusetts!!!
Democrats aren't gaining ground in New Hampshire! They're gaining in population. They screwed up everything down there. Now they're up here doing what chased them up here in the first place.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiXwZI_YqHY&feature=related
Now, watch this video. Continue to support Obama, and know yourself to be disconnected from reality. To be a hard core Obama supporter, you have to be burdened with a self destructive behaviour pattern.
The Democrats caused the mortgage crisis. They were all told. They lied and denied it. Barack Osama sued the lenders for not being even unscrupulous enough. Now the Democrats are lying as they blame the Republicans. That's all they can do.
The Democrats rely upon the fact that their supporters know nothing about the fractional reserve system and the mark to market regulation. It's all, WAY, over their heads. They set those low income people up for disaster, and then stuck us with the bill. Bravo Barney Frank!!
I dare say, those who criticize Rep. Baldasaro in this blog don't either. Otherwise, they'd be voting for McCain; who tried to get the lending disaster under control.
Here is the YouTube link. Watch it! You'll see that the Democrats are the ones who REFUSED TO REGULATE!
