House Speaker Terie Norelli (D-Portsmouth) said she is planning to run again for the lower-chamber's top post.
"I will be running again for Speaker," Norelli told PolitickerNH.com. "I look forward to another two years."
Republican state reps. Fran Wendelboe and Sherman Packard have announced they will be running for the speakership, but Norelli said she expects the Democrats to retain control of the House.
"You know that after the election the two party caucuses select their leadership but it is unusual for the speaker to come from the minority party," she said.
