Principal Deborah Migneault e-mailed staff to notify them of the event, Foster's is reporting.

Strafford County?
They are sending her to the most Democratic county in the state? Great!
Dover?
Strafford County produced 16,843 GOP voters in the Primary, compared to 26,960 Dems. Are they busing folks over from ME? They are scrapping for half of ME's EVs.
Dover?
strafford county
but hillary won the area and its working class not elite like obama. (insert sound of scraping off dem voters)
ask me how many houses I have
Saying Obama is elite is SUCH a joke at this point!
Educated is not elite. Ask Cindy and John how much those shoes of theirs cost, you know the ones Cindy wants Obama to walk in.... maybe if he did walk in her shoes then you could call him elite.
Who is the real elitist? How many houses?
Going nowhere fast
This thread.
You darn betcha!!
I just cant wait to come on down up over there and say hello to all you terrific Granite Staters. I just love how you all get so excited about the maverick, I gotta tell ya, youre all just a bunch of mavericky true americans with all them all elections and stuff that you have going on up over there near Canada which means were kinda neighbors because I can see Canada from my back porch too so I like to kinda think of us a one big joe six-pack and hockey mom family!
Wow there goes another left
Wow there goes another left wing nut attacking Palin cause she has Middle America Values. Yes, she believes in God, hunts like our fore fathers, and even shops at Wallmart. Oh my!
God help this country if we elect Obama we might as well make San Fran the capitol of this country
Middle America Values
If Sarah Palin has middle America values, I'm glad I live in elitist northern NH. I don't think that making women pay for rape kits the police use to gather evidence on their bodies after a rape is a value we should be proud of. I don't think that putting a scarlet letter on your own teenaged and throwing her to the wolves in front of the whole world is something to be proud of. I don't think that using a special needs baby as a prop on late night TV appearances is a value to crow about. I don't think that preaching hate, and encouraging racism, fear, and violence at campaign rallies is something to be proud of.
If those are the things we value in Middle America, I want no part of it.
You seem to have a whole lot
You seem to have a whole lot of hate in your heart Susan.
1. She uses her baby who has down syndrome for appearances? Um, are you for real? She chose to give this innocent baby life and its people like you that would of preferred she had an abortion. I mean really get a grip
2. She put her daughter out there? Um, actually no it was the liberal haters who were first out saying Trigg was her kid and that made Palin have to come out and not her daughter was pregnant and is taking responsibility for it. Your side with the hate for a teenage girl so again get a grip
3. You want to talk fear, hate and racism you must look at Democrats for past almost 8 years who have called this current President every crude name in book. Attend GOP event and u have to deal with crude protesters swearing, tearing down lawn signs, and saying u are racist if u dare point out how wrong Obama is. Again get a grip
I want no part of your warped sense of what America needs to be.
You seem to be projecting, Dave
Yes. She does use her baby for appearances. That is a special needs baby that should be home sleeping at night, not getting passed around late at night. Why is that so hard to understand?
You don't know anything about me, Dave, so you really shouldn't make assumptions - I believe in CHOICE. Palin chose to have that baby. It was her choice, which is just fine with me. I don't respect removing choice, and forcing women to serve as incubators. I had to make that CHOICE at age 18, when I learned the Pill is only 99% effective. My daughter will be 34 this week. You can stick your snide presumptions where they'll do the most good.
How, exactly, do I side with hate for a teenaged girl, Dave? I would NEVER have made a public spectacle of my daughter that way. I would have brought out my doctor and a birth certificate proving I gave birth to the baby. I am absolutely on the side of the teenaged girl.
I'm curious to hear about the racism that's been directed against your president, Dave. I seem to have missed the racist invective that the worst president ever has been subjected to.
You don't know me. You don't have any idea of what I want America to be. You'd be a much more effective communicator if you stopped trying to project your fantasies of what other people want, and began dealing in what they actually say.
Never before has someone
Never before has someone been so wrong like you Ms Susan
You have hate yet if one attacks your guys its racism? Once, again go get a grip!
I know your type: the elitist one, the one who thinks she is smarter then a Palin or Bush, the one who hates people attend church, and shop at Wallmart. I darn well know your type
I am willing to bet u came up from MA to NH.
I agree with Susan...
and I go to church regularly. And I was born and raised in New Hampshire. And the only other state I've lived in is redder-than-red Kansas.
I know your type, though, Dave. The kind who thinks that people who don't agree with him are "elitist" and believes that Palin and Bush are two of the sharpest pencils in the box because they're "middle American" (i.e., they drop their Gs from their gerunds).
Who says you can't see into someone's soul by reading the semi-anonymous comments they post on the internet?
The elitists will never
The elitists will never understand the appeal of Sarah Palin. Just like they never got Ronald Reagan. November 4 may be a wake-up call for them. Or perhaps 2012, when we get to vote for Sarah at the top of a ticket.
Poor Dave is now just
Poor Dave is now just ranting pathetically.
It's a waste of time to argue with someone who is so firmly entrenched in Fox Noise induced stereotypes.
Ummm....
...much as I'd like to, I just can't swallow the assertion that Sarah Palin's "appeal" is going to make up for John McCain's lack of appeal on November 4. Palin has appeal, sure, but it ultimately comes down to the top of the ticket.
And (assuming McCain loses), I'm not so sure she'd make that big a splash in 2012--who was the last failed VP candidate for either party to head the ticket four years later, let alone to be successful? (Dole did it---20 years after the fact. And lost.) If Palin remains in politics following the election, she'll certainly gain some much-needed gravitas, but I have difficulty seeing her as a serious presidential candidate in 2012--primarily given her horrendous debate performance (I think her much-maligned interview performance, on the other hand, can be remedied with more practice).
If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on any number of other governors, many of whom were discussed as possible McCain VP picks (Jindal, Pawlenty, Sanford); or possibly senators (DeMint, Thune--assuming there are any GOP senators left in 2012). As a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, these are the guys that scare me most, as far as their 2012 chances go.
Sarah for President!
Hauk...spoken like a true Democrat that doesn't get Sarah Palin. You'll be as surprised as the Dems of the 80s when Reagan kept kicking their butts.
BTW, Sarah was awesome at the deabate.
you betcha? goshdarn (wink)
Sarah was NOT awesome at the debate, she survived without collapsing, I do NOT call it a win. To say the elitists will never get S Palin is a joke, because there are hundreds of thousand who are middle America and DO NOT GET OR WANT TO GET THIS CHICK!
All she does is rally the extreme part of the right, thank God NH has many independent thinkers! I agree that it does appear she uses her children at the events, and as a mom I disagree with the practice. Where is Bristol these days... not making a good story line lately?
As they say in PA, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tale of 2 Governors
Governor Palin is connecting with blue collar Americans of both parties, not just the far right. You elitist snobs will never understand her appeal, just like you didn't get it when Governor Reagan routed your candidates by appealing to blue collar folks, including millions of Democrats.
Chauvinist Pig
"THIS CHICK!"
Chauvinist pig. As a Democrat, I'm offended to have you on Obama's side.
"THIS CHICK"...
..is the title she deserves, she is nothing but an insult to the intelligent/intellect of women across the country.
anyone else going to be there rallying AGAINST Pailin?
backlash
Nailin, you're an insult to any intelligent person, male or female. Why not channel your passion into positive energy for Obama/Biden, rather than the negativity toward Palin? You and your ilk are creating a backlash against Obama and for McCain.
Go Sarah Go!
Cads like anonymous1492 and nailin pailin are so jealous of Sarah Pailin. They're beside themslves over the fact that she not only is outshining their VP nominee, but is even attracting more attention than their celebrity candidate -- Barack Obama. Biden drew a few hundred people in Rochester today. Let's see what Sarah draws in a couple of days.
The real elitists...
... are those who seem to think that "blue-collar Americans" are some monolithic voting bloc who all share the same values and are stupid enough to be snookered by the kind of sloganeering and social conservatism that Sarah Palin represents. As someone who grew up in a "blue-collar American" family, I'm personally insulted by this insinuation. The truth is that blue-collar folks are a diverse group who care about real issues about which Sarah Palin hasn't demonstrated a lick of understanding (for example, economic and foreign policy). I'm not a McCain fan, but I'm happy to admit that he at least has a sophisticated grasp of many important issues. This idea that Palin can somehow appeal to the working class because of her professed adoration of guns, hockey, and snowmobiles and her opposition to abortion simply ignores the array of other issues facing working-class Americans today. This "she's one of us" stuff just isn't going to work this election cycle.
The proof's in the pudding: my dad is anti-abortion, pro-gun rights, and a lifelong hockey fan and snowmobiler. Who's he voting for this November? Here's a hint: NOT McCain/Palin.
So, to the REAL elitists: don't underestimate working-class Americans. You might regret it.
Pailin Power
Yes, Sarah Pailin is definitely the center of attention. Just look at the number of replies to a simple posting about her coming to the state. When has Biden, or even Obama, ever generated 24 comments to this site?
dear offended and youbetcha'
["THIS CHICK!"
Chauvinist pig. As a Democrat, I'm offended to have you on Obama's side. }
As a woman I guess I am shocked to be called a chauvanist pig. I didnt really think I was being that way, I guess I was feeling folksy, sorry to have offended you I was thinking first dude...chick...hmm? Your offended? I'm confused at how easy it is to offend when talking about women in politics these days and yet this same lady (Palin) has said some pretty hateful things herself. So is it disrespectful to call someone in politics a dude? I didn't curse, or write a smear so whats the problem? BTW I am SOOOOO not an elitist, and again I am laughing that you would think that of me..... you do not really know.
jealous of Palin, I am not. Worried about the future and who will be in charge... I AM!
Veteran and Mom for Obama
"Today we begin in earnest the work of making sure that the world we leave our children is just a little bit better than the one we inhabit today" Barack Obama
I'm voting Obama/Biden for my children's and our country's future. I'm a mom and veteran.
I won't say anything bad about Republicans, I'm fairly certain my dad is voting that way. As a society, it doesn't bring us together to say hateful things about each others political beliefs. Mean spirited generalizations just drive us further apart.
To me, this is about the best person to lead our country.
I was a reservist in the USMC during the first Gulf War and was called up to for a couple months, and I was on active duty in the USN during this current war. A dear corpsman with whom I worked lost his life in Iraq.
Another dear friend who lost his life, another Navy nurse, volunteered to go to Cuba to take care of the prisoners... if he had not gone, I would have gone and left a 6 month old, 3 & 6 year old behind.
I'm a 43 year old woman & have been working since I was 16. My husband works from home and is the one who takes the kids to soccer and shops and cooks most of our meals.
As a woman and veteran, the McCain camp would love to have me on their side. On the surface, Palin seems to be "like me". However, fundamentally, I disagree with almost everything she says and stands for politically.
I suggested to my husband that he stand outside the Dover Palin rally with a sign that says "Soccer Dads for Obama".
I would love to go with a sign that says "Mom and Veteran for Obama".

Elitism
Obama exudes elitism. Doesn't matter where he was schooled our how much money he has, it's an attitude that says "I'm better than you". He just had another person taken off radio for speaking out against him. This is what you have to look forward to in an Obama administration -- loss of freedom of speech and 2nd amendment rights. As for Sarah, what candidate doesn't bring her family with her when she accepts the honor of being chosen to run for VP? The criticisms of Sarah are far reaching, and vapid. They are non-issues. Someone criticized her for an 'unplanned pregnancy'. Um say what? She's married. The fact that her daughter is keeping her baby and there will be no abortions and no welfare is real family values. As for Palin preaching hate, and encouraging racism, fear, and violence at campaign rallies you can't be serious. Obama sat in a racist church for 20 years and listened to that racist anti-American nastiness. He and his wife are haters and it's plain to see what with this new thugocracy he has created to suppress anyone he doesn't like. Louis Farrakhan calls him the Messiah. Will we all be forced to be Muslims? The financial community is warning that an Obama presidency will cause the worst depression than 1929. They are 80% for McCain. They said he will destroy the middle class what with his giveaway programs. He is planning to send $100 Billion to the UN immediately with his global poverty act, in obeisance to the world government. This is treasonous. Of course, most Obama supporters have an IQ of about 80 and have no clue who he is or what he stands for. They are feeling like if they don't vote for him they too will be called a racist. Well let me tell you the word is overused and if there are any racists in this election it's Obama, Jackson and the rest of his goons. Obama does not represent middle America values. He is a 'do as I say not as I do' kind of elitist. His handler George Soros is a convicted international criminal who aided and abetted the Nazis in stealing from fellow Jews before sending them to the camps, TO SAVE HIS OWN SKIN. And Obama presidency would be a one-sided race-centric administration, and it would be anti-white. Just look at this scary video of the Obama supporters and how his candidacy has incited collective racism and hatred! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQalRPQ8stI And look at this one that shows how dumb they are: http://www.breitbart.tv/?p=194983 How DARE you say a thing bad about Sarah? She has wings of an angel compared to Obama and his sordid crew of handlers and supporters. You can no longer simply shout out accusations that make no sense. McCain is soft -- I've never heard him say one bad thing about Obama. Sarah has simply pointed out Obama's criminal activities with ACORN. This is what happens in campaigns. Get used to it. Your guy has a huge rap sheet of anti-American values and behavior not the least of which is palin' around with that creep William Ayers. By the way, the Ayer's schools are two in NH, Amherst and Monadnock. FACE UP TO THE SHAMEFULNESS OF YOUR CANDIDATE PLEASE. His racism is INSTITUTIONAL. It should be outlawed and he is the one who should be in JAIL.
When did we start confusing
When did we start confusing elitism with intelligence? People like Barack Obama get into Harvard because they are damn smart and hard working. People who are lazy dummies go to community college and state schools and float around taking years to graduate.
If the blue collar voters of America really want dummies to run the country, then maybe Palin will be elected president. But I hope that there are enough practical human beings left in America that we can elect the best and brightest who know how to surround themselves with the greatest minds available to solve the county's problems.
The Bush administration certainly did not do this, instead recruiting based on loyalty and religion. And John McCain already has proven that he will do the same by picking Palin instead of someone intelligent and qualified.
Izzie Nutz - I'm fairly
Izzie Nutz - I'm fairly certain that intelligence is not dependent on an Ivy League education, but thanks for playing.
NH - Your troll would be more effective if people could actually tell what you are trying to say. -1
I'm sick of people speaking of the "blue-collar vote" as if the working class was one homogeneous mass, easily seduced by a platform based around a professed love of snowmobiles and hockey. We're not morons, and it's going to take more than make-believe "Joe Six-Pack" roots to win the vote of the American people.
