Gov. Lynch Swears In Glenn Normandeau
As Fish and Game Director
CONCORD - Gov. John Lynch today swore in Glenn Normandeau of Portsmouth to serve as the executive director of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.
"As a business owner and Fish and Game commissioner, Glenn Normandeau understands the business and financial challenges that the department faces," Gov. Lynch said. "He also understands the importance of the mission of Fish and Game, and he is committed to supporting New Hampshire's sportsmen and fisherman and conserving our state's wildlife habitats."
Normandeau, has served as a Fish and Game commissioner for the last five years. Prior to being appointed executive director, he was president and owner of Pickering Marine Corp., a heavy construction company specializing in marine contracting, including piers and shore stabilization. Prior to starting Pickering Marine in 1990, Normandeau was an environmental consultant, performing various field projects, which included tagging fish and water flow modeling. He was recommended for the post by the Fish and Game Commission.
