‘Stop Sununu’ dissolves

The group "Stop Sununu" have ceased their operations, The Concord Monitor reports.

Since last summer, the group has been tracking U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) and is most famous for coming up with red stop signs that read "Stop Sununu."

The group's functions will be folded into the campaign efforts of the state Democratic Party.

Yes

Yes I did mean ceased.

Thanks for the correction.

What does this mean?

What this likely means is that the DSCC, who was paying for the operation, lost confidence that the Stop Sununu effort was actually accomplishing anything. It looks like they will now run the anti-sununu operation out of the IE shop of their operation.

That is probably bad news for Sununu as it will no longer be money wasted but is also a sign that national players did not have confidence in the results of the state democratic party.

Finally Realized

They finally realized that such a harshly negative campaign would only backfire and that people are annoyed by their immature antics. The red stop signs were obnoxious, they would have been better off spending that money/time promoting Jeanne Shaheen, instead of paying a bunch of out-of-state kids to follow John Sununu around with signs.

You wish!

We have thousands more signs and you will see them all the way through November 4th, never fear! Read what Lofy said, the project will now be folded into the NHDP's coordinated campaign - meaning that instead of just 8 people working full time to "Stop Sununu" it will be tenfold soon! But then again, believe what you want...it doesn't really matter.

Stop Sununu was always apart

Stop Sununu was always apart of the NHDP- so if that is true there should be nothing to report.
