Roger Goun (D-Brentwood) has decided not to challenge State Sen. Jack Barnes (R-Raymond).
"It's not going to happen this time. I'll take a look at the situation again at the end of the year and decide if it's worth another try," Goun said.
Last year, Goun formed a political action committee to run against Barnes.

But seriously, just because someone who announced a six months ago that he wasn't running reaffirmed that he wasn't running does not mean someone else isn't. And anyway Buckley said he had 20 candidates not 24. Just like Bush and Guinta - you clearly can't count.
