Subcommittee examines primary age voting bill

A bill that would allow seventeen-year-olds to vote in primaries has hit a roadblock.

A subcommittee established to examine the bill has voted unanimously to recommend interim study, and to send the bill on to the Supreme Court for a review of constitutionality.

The Election Law Committee will vote on the bill on April 15th.
