Ballot Law Commission to hear primary recount appeal

The New Hampshire primary seems to never end.

On Friday, April 18th the Ballot Law Commission will hear an appeal to the Republican primary recount.

Presidential candidate Albert Howard, who also had requested the recount, is challenging the recount results, again.

During the hearing, witnesses will testify under oath and can submit evidence.

Commission rulings can be appealed to the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

The Commission operates under RSA665.

Albert Howard recount appeal to NH BLC

Mr Howard's appeal has real concerns of the
accuracy of the vote counting process for
both machine ballot counting and paper
ballot counting. Both processes are prone
to be inaccurate as review of the recent
recounts recorded on the NH SoS home page
indicates.

Perhaps adding a verification count as part
of the end of election day at the polling
ward/precinct by performing a manual hand
count of the paper ballots may help us to
get an error rate from the 1% to 20% or more
to a better error rate of less than 1%.

Thanks and Good Luck
