Burton raises $42,500 from fundraiser

Executive Councilor Ray Burton's campaign announced that it raised $42,500 at a recent fundraiser.

"As long as I'm around, this area is going to be effectively represented on the Five Member Executive Council," Burton said.

The fundraiser, held at Church Landing Resort, was hosted by former New Hampshire Congressman Bill Zeliff.

In addition to hosting the fundraiser, Burton has established a campaign website, www.rayburton2008.com, and has opened an office in Bath.
