Former Republican U.S. Senate candidate Thomas Christo has passed away. Christo, 59, died Saturday from a brain aneurysm. In 1990, Christo ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate. He lost in the Republican primary to future U.S. Senator Bob Smith. Christo previously was the Finance Chairman for the New Hampshire Republican Party from 1991-1992 and recently served as the State Finance Chairman, and State Co-Chairman, for Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign. He leaves behind a wife and four children.
