Executive Council Confirms Linda Hodgdon As
Commissioner of Administrative Services; Glenn Normandeau As Fish and Game Director

CONCORD - The Executive Council today confirmed Gov. John Lynch's nominations of Linda Hogdon as Commissioner of Administrative Services and Glenn Normandeau as executive director of the Fish and Game Department.

"I applaud the Executive Council for confirming Linda Hodgdon and Glenn Normandeau, two outstanding individuals who fill important roles in state government. Linda is widely respected throughout state government for her financial and administrative expertise, and she is one of the best financial people I've ever met in the private or public sector," Gov. Lynch said. "Linda will be missed in my office, but the Department of Administrative Services and the entire state will benefit from knowledge, commitment and leadership."

Hodgdon, of Epsom, has served as the Governor's budget director since March 2006. She has also served two other governors in budgetary roles. From 1985 to 1988, she served as a financial analyst for Gov. John Sununu, monitoring state agency spending and serving as the governor's liaison in bonding negotiations. From 2000 to 2002, Hodgdon served as budget director for Gov. Jeanne Shaheen.

From 2004 to 2006, Hodgdon also served as the Department of Justice's director of administration, where she developed the agency's budget and managed its finances, managed federal grants, and negotiated contracts. From 2002 to 2004, she worked at the Department of Health and Human Services, first as the Medicaid Finance Director and then as the bureau chief for the Bureau of Financial Review and Integrity. From 1998 to 2000, she was the administrator of information technology for the Department of Transportation, and from 1988 to 1998, she was the Department's financial manager.

Glenn Normandeau, of Portsmouth, has served as a Fish and Game commissioner for the last five years. He is president and owner of Pickering Marine Corp., a heavy construction company specializing in marine contracting, including piers and shore stabilization. Prior to starting Pickering Marine in 1990, Normandeau was an environmental consultant, performing various field projects, which included tagging fish and water flow modeling. He was recommended for the post by the Fish and Game Commission.

"Glenn Normandeau understands the importance of the mission of Fish and Game, and he is committed to supporting New Hampshire's sportsmen and fisherman and conserving our state's wildlife habitats," Gov. Lynch said. "As a business owner and Fish and Game commissioner, Glen Normandeau also understands the business and financial challenges that the department faces. "
