Hippo readers pick best politicians

Readers of The Hippo have named the best city and state politicians in New Hampshire.
The weekly magazine allowed readers to submit names and the names with the most votes won.
"We've always placed a great emphasis on constituent service and a quick response when someone in New Hampshire needs help," said Sununu. "I'm also fortunate to have the best staff in New Hampshire, and seven brothers and sisters who are tough critics."
State Senator Sylvia Larsen was named best Concord politician and Mayors Frank Guinta (R-Manchester) and Donnalee Lozeau (R-Nashua) won best city politicians in their respective cites.
"I am honored to be chosen for this award. I will continue to work hard for the people of Manchester and to build their trust," Guinta said.
The Hippo's Best of Everything 2008 poll included categories ranging from best spa to best cocktail and hottest bartender.
