IMPEACHMENT HEARINGS AND THE ANGRY LEFT-WING

CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen releases the following statement regarding today’s hearing on Representative Betty Hall’s resolution to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

“Today’s hearing is another sign that the angry, extreme left-wing has taken over the New Hampshire Democratic Party.  Really, do political disagreements over foreign policy rise to the level of impeachment?  This is a hyper-partisan resolution, and the fact that it is even seeing the light of day, never mind getting a full public hearing in a House Committee, is a disgrace and an embarrassment.  Democrats at the Statehouse are wasting taxpayers’ time and money to make a foolish political point.  Will Governor Lynch ever stand up to the angry left wing of his party?  Do Jeanne Shaheen, Paul Hodes, and Carol Shea-Porter agree with this impeachment resolution?  Their silence signals agreement.”
