Porter & Hoades vote against bailout
They both were scared, so one vote against Pelosi, does not make up for the hundreds of votes where both stuck with Pelosi and it was no good for NH.
Bailout
I was a life long republican until June of this year (2008)...Shea-Porter will be getting my vote simply because she voted against the bailout twice...
Bailout
I am a registered Republican and I have not been a fan of Carol Shea-Porter since she first was elected to the House in 2006. However, I greatly appreciate the fact that both she and Paul Hodes voted "no" not once, but twice, on the bill, at a time when both of our supposedly conservative Republican Senators, especially Judd Gregg, were leading the charge to ram it through Congress. I am still unimpressed with Shea-Porter's track record, but she earned big points in my eyes. Jeb Bradley stayed conveniently quiet during the debacle and I question how he would've voted. I am seriously considering voting Carol Shea-Porter this November.
Republicans
Fred, Ben we have some people who are Democrats but they call themselfs Republicans around the state. Many of us call them RINO's.
Who are you trying to kid here that you are Republicans and supporting the Cut and run, white flag carrying Carol Shea Porter, who voted against supporting our Troops in harms way.
I did not support the bailout either but I am not a one issue person and change parties to vote Democrat
