Tight budget year ahead in Sandown SANDOWN — Department heads have been put on notice that it's going to be a tight year for budgets. While the budgeting process won't start until early August, the Budget Committee has sent a letter to all department heads saying the goal is to hold the budget at or below the cost-of-living increase, anticipated to be around 2.5 percent.
