Shaheen Wishes for November Victory and Another Pats Super Bowl
By Brian Lawson, PolitickerNH.com ReporterA win in November and another Super Bowl for the New England Patriots, those are the birthday wishes of former New Hampshire Governor Jeanne Shaheen.
Shaheen, a Democratic candidate to defeat U.S. Senator John Sununu, celebrated her sixty-first birthday yesterday.
In an e-mail to supporters, Shaheen’s daughters urged supporters to contribute money to their mother’s senatorial campaign.
“It is our hope that you will consider joining us to commemorate her birthday with a gift - a gift that every New Hampshire citizen can share. Please help us celebrate Mom's birthday by contributing today to her campaign for the U.S. Senate,” the e-mail stated.
Shaheen’s daughters added, “Thank you for your willingness to give our Mom what she wants more than anything for her birthday - the opportunity to serve you and all the people of New Hampshire.”
The Shaheen campaign said the candidate also wishes for “Another Super Bowl for the Patriots!”
