Spaulding ‘probably not’ running for old seat
By Brian LawsonFormer Executive Councilor Peter Spaulding says he is "probably not" going to run for his old seat.
"I haven't made a final decision, but I'm probably not going to run," Spaulding told PolitickerNH.com
Spaulding was first elected to the Executive Council in 1982 and represented the Second District until his defeat in 2006. Spaulding lost to Councilor John Shea.
During the primary, Spaulding served as John McCain's New Hampshire Co-Chairman.
The Second District stretches across the state from the Keene region to the Seacoast.
