for April “Business and Professional Women’s Leadership Summit

WASHINGTON, DC – United States Senator John Sununu (R-NH) announced today (2/8) that he has nominated 31 New Hampshire women to participate in the “Business and Professional Women’s Leadership Summit” in Washington, DC, in late April.  The New Hampshire representatives will join about 400 women leaders from across the country to discuss economic growth, education, health care, and other national political issues.

“The Summit provides a terrific opportunity for New Hampshire women to discuss key policy issues and to network with their peers on a national level,” said Sununu.  “These leaders will bring a diverse pool of talent and experience to the meeting, and will make meaningful contributions to the discussion.”

Sununu nominated the following business and community leaders for the April 29-30 Summit:

The “Business and Professional Women’s Leadership Summit” is chaired by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX).  Featuring speakers from Congress and the Bush administration, the annual event aims to promote continued economic growth for all Americans.  The Summit will be held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.
