U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) said he is not going to endorse his former aide Grant Bosse who is running in a four way Republican primary for Congress.
"I'm not going to comment on his race. Grant is putting together a strong campaign. That's his race," Sununu said.
Bosse announced yesterday that he is running for Congress in the Second Congressional District. Bosse will be competing in a Republican primary against state Sen. Bob Clegg, radio talk show host Jennifer Horn and Concord lawyer Jim Steiner.
Reacting to a University of New Hampshire poll that shows Sununu losing to Jeanne Shaheen by 17 points, Sununu said, "Anyone looking at polls at this point doesn't know what New Hampshire politics is all about.
"When the time comes to campaign I'll campaign the way I've always campaigned, town-to-town and person-to-person," he said.
