Ballott Law Commission turns down Bearse

Peter Bearse: Campaign PhotoPeter Bearse: Campaign PhotoCONCORD--The Ballot Law Commission met to hear appeals from the state recounts conducted last week.

The Commission voted 5-0 against putting independent candidate Peter Bearse on the ballot. Bearse argued that the Secretary of State office did not properly count his ballot petitions. The State office said that Bearse fell short of the required 1,500 signatures needed to gain access to the ballot.

Howard recount appeal denied

CONCORD- The Ballot Law Commission has dismissed the appeal by presidential candidate Albert Howard (R-Mich.).

This was the latest step in a four month process that began with Howard challenging the results of the New Hampshire Republican primary.

After a six-week recount process, that resulted in Howard losing one vote, Howard decided to challenge the recount.

Ballot Law Commission to hear primary recount appeal

The New Hampshire primary seems to never end.

On Friday, April 18th the Ballot Law Commission will hear an appeal to the Republican primary recount.

Presidential candidate Albert Howard, who also had requested the recount, is challenging the recount results, again.
