Smith decides against presidential run

Former New Hampshire U.S. Sen. Bob Smith has decided against running for president.

Smith requested his name be removed from consideration to be the Constitution Party's presidential nominee. He told party leaders he could not run for personal reasons.

Smith served in the U.S. Senate from 1990-2003, he was defeated in the Republican primary by current U.S. Senator John E. Sununu.

Christo passes away

Former Republican U.S. Senate candidate Thomas Christo has passed away.

Christo, 59, died Saturday from a brain aneurysm.

Bob Smith Writes for Constitution Party

Former New Hampshire United States Sen. Bob Smith is now writing for the Constitution Party website.

Smith, who now sells real estate in Florida, wrote his first post on Monday.
